  4. Operations Recent Board Activity › Website, Communications, Finances All ongoing. › Trailer Replacement Continued coordination with district for replacement due to hail damage. District request for bids to be posted Mid-October. › Chick-fil-A Food Rewards Program Including our September submission of receipts, PRBB had a balance of nearly $1,500 in free chicken. › PRUBO Policy 915 Submitted for September 30 deadline. › Financial Audit Audit finalized for September 15 deadline. › Fundraisers Submitted electronic forms online and were approved by Mrs. Bowman. › Corporate Sponsorship Chair position is vacant and holds extreme profit potential.

  5. Operations Digital Media Chair Thanks to Digital Media Chair, Kelly Metzgar, new and improved access to images, video, news, and more through social media. Digital Media Trying to collect and gather as many photos/videos as possible of “The #1 Band in the Land!” If you take photos or videos while at a game or event, you can upload them to the PRBB Google Photos album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/L7d3SChNvKYNpEns6 If you would prefer, you can email or text them to: kmetzgar127@gmail.com/724-612-2950. Photos will be uploaded to our Google Photos album and videos will be put on our YouTube channel. The images and footage will be used to promote the band through various avenues such as the yearbook, etc. And don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @pinerichlandmarchingband.   7. Spring Band Trip April 30 through May 3 Louisville, KY and Cincinnati, OH › Spring Trip Commitments and Deposits have Spring Band Trip been received. Thanks for getting those forms and payments in on time! › Confirmed Participation: 233 students attending, 14 not attending, and 5 had no response. Fantastic participation! › Students individually responsible for the cost of their own trip. Trip cost is estimated to be $689 per student. $200 deposit paid, balance of approximately $489 due February 15. Kentucky Derby “Pegasus Parade” › Individual Cancellation Insurance was available at a cost of $39 per student. Great Wolf Lodge Window to purchase insurance has passed. Cincinnati About half purchased insurance. › Specific trip details, including Proposed King’s Island Itinerary and Individual Cancellation Amusement Park Coverage Policy, available on band website. › Please direct trip questions to Mr. Scott or Trip Coordinator, Sabrina George, at sabrinageorge@zoominternet.net

Spring Band Trip Trip Payment Schedule Spring Band Trip Commitment Forms and Initial Deposit Payment $200 Due September 23, 2019 To ensure that all student intentions are verified, each D E T E L student must submit this form -- even if they are not P M O C traveling with the band. Individual Cancellation Coverage (Optional) $39 Due September 23, 2019 Travel insurance must be purchased by September 23, 2019. No refunds will be given for any reason D E T E L P M O C without purchase of this coverage. PRBB is unable to refund any travel funds. Final Balance Payment $489 Due February 15, 2020 TOTAL TRIP COST PER PERSON $689 * (estimate) TOTAL WITH $39 INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION COVERAGE $728 * (estimate) *Total trip cost per student is an estimate. Final payment may fluctuate slightly. All checks must be payable to travel agent “EMA” and include student’s name in memo line. Please do not combine checks.

Core Fundraisers Annual Fundraising Without fundraising, PRBB would Kennywood Ticket Sales not be able to support all of the Band Spiritwear Sales things we do to benefit the band and to improve the overall band Concessions and Candy Stand experience for our young musicians. Chick-fil-A, Moe’s, and Bake Sales Direct Donations Annual Goal Revenues equal or exceed expenses. Potential Additional Fundraisers Fundraising. . . AV Band Festival Sales and Concessions › Benefits all students and the band organization as a whole. Garden Flags, Magnets, and Decals Thanksgiving Pie Sale › Covers expenses not covered by the district budget. Z-Roni Pepperoni Roll Sale › Supports band needs. Spring Raffle? Corporate Sponsors? › Includes small and large expenses (i.e. band trailer, music, and equipment). Pomerleau Scholarship Fundraising › Covers band trip expenses Bake Sale at Winter Spring Concert beyond individual student cost.   11. Fundraising Recent, Current, and Upcoming J.Crew The Block Northway Shop for a Cause was on Saturday, September 14. PRBB will be receiving $299 from J.Crew! Thanks for shopping at the event! Garden Flags, Magnets, and Decals Sale Deadline was September 30. Thanks for ordering! Sold 11 flags, 13 magnets, and 12 decals. Not great participation. Okay since this was not meant to generate a ton of funds but to provide an opportunity to display band spirit! Order placed October 2. Turn around time and delivery expected within two weeks. Spiritwear Sale Due to unforeseen challenges, PRBB has suspended Spiritwear Sales with the current vendor. PRBB is in the process of finding a new vendor to suit our needs. Our apologies for any inconveniences that may have occurred with prior orders. Profit from the vendor for initial sales reported to be $750. Second print run order of 24 band shirts still pending. We appreciate your continued patience! Pie Sale kicks off soon with delivery in time for Thanksgiving. Charms Online Store will be used for the sale. Will need volunteers on delivery day. Z-Roni Pepperoni Roll Sale in January after the winter break with Friday, January 31 delivery date in time for Superbowl on February 2. Direct Donations Campaign continues. If you have not already done so, please, please, please , donate online in Charms or send a check payable to “PRBB”. Raffles have the potential to net huge profits: 2,000 tickets at $5 each equals $10,000. For success,, we need an enticing prize. Do you have something to donate for a Raffle?
