Why Fundraise? Without fundraising, PRBB would not be able to support all of the things we do to benefit the band and to improve the overall band experience for our young musicians. Annual Goal Revenues equal or exceed expenses.

  • Fundraising. . .

› Benefits all students and the

band organization as a whole.

› Covers expenses not covered by

the district budget.

› Supports band needs. › Includes small and large

expenses (i.e. band trailer, music, and equipment).

› Covers band trip expenses

beyond individual student cost.

Class of 2020 Senior Book

What is the Senior Book?

The Senior Book celebrates the Class of 2020 band members. It is a nice memento even for underclassmen — it's the closest thing the band has to a yearbook. Each senior has a full page biography page in which their answers to survey questions are

  • listed. Questions include plans for the future, favorite band and PRHS memories, and

advice to freshmen. Some of the answers are funny and some are touching; all are

  • entertaining. Members of all classes are included in photos of each section, and in the

many pages of candid photos.

Last Call Deadlines

› Book Orders Every senior receives one complimentary copy of the book at

Senior Night. Additional copies for seniors, families, or underclassmen may be

  • rdered for $15 each. See website for order form. Book orders were due Tuesday,

October 1.

› Senior Book Ads If you have an ad for your senior or an ad from a business,

please contact Senior Book Co-Chairs Angela Gross and Leanne Finney at prsrbook@gmail.com immediately, since deadlines have actually passed. Artwork is needed ASAP; payment can still be sent by mail to arrive next week.

Events and Schedules

Since deadlines have passed, please contact Senior Book Co-Chairs Leanne Finney and Angela Gross IMMEDIATELY at prsrbook@gmail.com if you missed a deadline and would like to inquire about an ad or book purchase. Senior Book printing begins Monday, October 14!

Interests

›

On Parent/Adult Contact Information Page in Charms, please select areas in which you may want to be involved from the pull-down “Interests” menu in Charms.

›

Selecting or indicating an “Interest” is not a commitment. It simply provides a list of people that may be available and willing if and when there is a particular need.

Volunteers (non chaperone)

›

SignUp.com is utilized to recruit and manage volunteers.

›

Openings communicated via email and on the website.

›

If you need to change/cancel your volunteer commitment, please do so online. Volunteer openings need to be accurate and current on the site. If unable to volunteer at the last minute, please contact chair directly.

›

Lori Jones is the SignUp.com Volunteer Manager

Chaperones

›

Parent volunteers are utilized for each band event.

›

If you are interested in chaperoning the trip or other band events, you must be on the PRBB chaperone list. You can indicate your interest and be added to the list by selecting “Chaperones” under “Interests” in Charms. Chaperone Chairs contact this group and make assignments based on specific chaperone needs and volunteer experience.

›

Spring Trip chaperones are selected based on experience and service as a chaperone throughout the year.

›

Chaperones are highly encouraged to have PRSD independent volunteer clearances. ALL trip chaperones must have PRSD independent volunteer clearances and meet district requirements.

Volunteers

Volunteer Update

› November 11 PMEA Jazz Tryouts at PRHS Will need volunteers

to collect fees at registration table, to assist with Concessions, and

  • more. We will also provide dinner for 40-50 band directors. Watch

for a SignUp.com link as we approach the event.

› Concessions and Candy Stand These are vital fundraisers.

Read emails and check website to access the SignUp.com link to volunteer openings. Many options and shifts available, including Thursday volunteers needed to assist with Pepsi order delivery. Still need clean up volunteers at concessions, just not candy. One more regular season game and, hopefully, a home playoff game.

› Thank You! With over 250 band members, it takes a lot of

volunteers to make things work smoothly! Thanks to all of you for volunteering! We are blessed with a remarkable team of parents!

If you have not yet volunteered for anything this year, please sign up for a shift during the remaining home game(s)! And remember… always buy from the right side as you enter the stadium from the parking lot.
