Spring Band Trip

Final Trip Payment Info

FEBRUARY 15

$ 4 1 4

› Student Contributions! With an extended

football/concessions season, additional revenue from the AV Band Fest in September, and generous donations from our families, PRBB will contribute $75 towards the cost of the trip for each student this year. ($75 x 233 students = $17,475)

› Spring Trip Balance Due! Students individually

responsible for the cost of their own trip. Trip cost was originally estimated to be $689 per student. A $200 deposit was paid upon commitment in the fall. Balance of $414 ($489 less $75 contribution from PRBB) is due February 15.

› Spring Trip Chaperones! District requires 1:10 ratio

  • f chaperones per student. All 7 staff members are

going on the trip. Therefore, 16 additional chaperones are needed. Currently, 13 chaperones have

  • committed. As in the past, PRBB will help cover a

portion of the trip cost for our dedicated volunteers.

Recent Fundraising

Zroni Pepperoni Roll Sale

›

January Sale is complete.

›

Only 13 students participated in the sale with a total of 55 Zroni rolls sold.

›

$770 collected, less $520 invoice, netted $250 profit.

›

For reference: Approximately 5% of our students participated with an average sale of just four rolls each.

›

Rolls were delivered on Friday, January 31.

›

Hopefully, everyone enjoyed them on Superbowl Sunday.

›

Thanks for utilizing Charms and Affinipay for online sales.

Spring Spiritwear Sale

› Get your favorite Spiritwear anytime and be prepared for the Spring Trip. › Sale available online 24/7. See band website for link to Play2Wear site.

Spring Music Raffle

› Due to decreased fundraiser participation, amount of effort required to

coordinate, and low potential benefit per student, there will be no spring raffle this year. Even if we cleared a full $10,000 profit, which is highly unlikely, it would only decrease student cost by $50. Poor projection factors simply outweigh the benefits per student.

› That said, if you have something to donate for a raffle and/or would be

willing to facilitate a spring raffle, please contact Kristin Barcaskey at prbbvice@gmail.com.
