Treasurer’s Report Treasurer, Beth Farbacher Account Balance $59,383.19 as of April 30, 2019. Through April 2019, we have a new cash increase of $332. Estimated expenses for remainder of school year are $9,300, leaving a cash balance of approximately $50,100 by year end. This does not include FY 19-20 revenues collected before 7/1/19. I had projected to have a little bit more, but did not realize that we had to renew the Charms subscription for $1,095. This was not in the 2018 – 2019 budget. For the year, fundraising income was almost $16,000 below budget for the reasons we have discussed throughout the year. Net operating income and expense is projected to be $7,000 under budget leaving an overall shortfall against budget of $9,000.
Class of 2019 PRBB Scholarships Applications have been submitted and are being reviewed by an outside party. Scholarships will be awarded at the PRHS Spring Band Concert on May 13, 2019. Four (4) - $500 scholarship recipients will be selected. 2019-2020 PRBB Board Transition and Student Registration President – Lisa Gaffey (existing) Vice President – Kristin Barcaskey (new) Treasurer – Geoff Meyer (new) Secretary – Lori Jones (existing) Welcome new board members and thanks for serving! New officers are now in place and will manage 2019-2020 registration this month alongside Mini Band Camp. Watch for important emails regarding the registration process and be sure to complete all parts of registration by the established deadlines. It is important that deadlines are adhered to so that we are ready to start the new season without the board having to work all summer. This year, late fees will be assessed for incomplete registration. Registration must be complete before the end of the school year!

Amendment to the Bylaws Amendments to the Bylaws of the Pine-Richland Band Boosters have been proposed. This additional booster member meeting was scheduled for the purpose of amending the bylaws. These are minor changes. Proposed amendments were posted on the band website and a notice was sent via email of their availability on Thursday, April 18.
