Spokane Matters 2.0

  • Continue to promote engagement with the

community through Summits and direct participation in projects;

  • Maintain website and project pages where public can

access presentations, information and project updates!

  • Continue to generate district solutions to district

specific issues in a creative way with interdepartmental staff and community stakeholders’

  • n-the-ground knowledge!
  • Create a more sustainable model that works better for

volunteers- less meetings, more project-specific teamwork!

  • Work under the umbrella of the City’s Strategic Plan

All District Summit Kickoff!

  • Community stakeholders along with the Mayor’s office, City Council,

City staff come together and select up to 3 projects per district and get an overview of the program and where we’re headed together in 2018!

  • Project teams are formed in breakout sessions at the kickoff meeting-

and community stakeholders now become project specific and are integral to project success!

  • Community Assembly will be updated in June, once projects have

gotten off the ground;

  • Project selection aligns with the initiatives of the strategic plan;
  • Reporting out occurs at the Mayor’s Quarterly Performance meetings,

based on initiatives of the strategic plan;

  • Look forward to a capstone summit at year’s end similar to last

December!

March 29th, 2-4pm, WCCC, Newtown Lounge!
