CONCLUSION

Injection: 14 MD blocks Longitudinal: 69 MD blocks Transverse: >90 MD blocks Extraction and Transfer: >8 MD blocks Total: >181 MD blocks Assuming MDs available from 1st April to the end of the proton run: 32 weeks of 5 working days with 2 MDs per day = 320 MD blocks available More than half of the “available” MD time already claimed with medium and high priority MDs, more will be required in practice. Additional MD slots will rapidly fill up with overflow, beam set-up, technical stops, interventions etc. LS2 is rapidly approaching!
