BI.DIS10 Generator prototype, Jura 6 Status of technical progress (Slow Controls) • Class SILECS implemented for KiT’s local timing (to be tested) • Timing H/W integration roadmap to completion Status of hardware development • PFN construction on-going, near completion • Production of EDS chassis with ADTE, delivered Remaining issues • Timing + FIS + BIS integration in JU6 • PDC production, design near completion, to be produced externally. • Still some considerable H/W production Operations issues • Operational specification concerning PFN.0, increasing from 20us to 50us, awaiting confirmation (Bettina and co), what are the implications ? 2

BI.DIS10 Slow control H/W and cabling production Hardware production • EDS chassis received from ADTE (6 of) • GPC chassis in manufacturing in Greece (6 of) • Generator switch-over PP , ready to be assembled (all H/W ordered), awaiting panels with cut-outs from LAB1 • IGBT cassettes to be cabled in-house (9 of ?)

BI.DIS10 PDC system PDC design • Design done • Tr-ciel calculation sheet done • Design specification document complete • EN/EL contacted for main feed between switchboard and PDC (James Devine et al) ->80kVA feed from modified EBD20 in BCER. • Tender in discussion at the moment, Italie, Greece and France (ADTE) are the current bidders...
