Application status (not signed off)

Status of applications not signed off: Show Stopper for deployment? Ink (CFS) No Ink (Menzies) Yes Turkish Yes Iberia Express Yes Delta No Vueling No Emirates No AYRes No SGH Wizard Search No Citrix Metaframe (Aviator) No Redcap No BRS No In PRD and tested by Amadeus - Need CPH/SGH Signoff All OK apart from DCP issue which is being worked on. Printer just feeds paper with no printed output when print command is sent Will be delayed until after cutover as not required right now, lower priority Everything working with exception of DCP. This has now been resolved by Navitaire and has been tested today. Issue with slow responses and inability to activiate charging link from within application, under investigation Auto refresh of boarding progress is not working. New package is being prepared to resolve this Jouni at AY is providing new Config - We continue to chase for progress report - but as yet, nothing! Carsten confirmed this is only used at Ticket Desk Potential to delay the Check-In deployment for the desks used by TK (130 to 135 in T2) whilst we complete the Comments Wizard Search is now OK. We have installed a PDF viewer which has been successfully tested and rolled out. NB This viewer does not have a printing function, which may be required by SGH. This is included in ACUS product roadmap but will not be ready for go live date Application is working, however, Joseph and Henrik (Aviator) are working to limit the number of workstations from which it can be accessed to ensure that Aviator users do not run out of client licenses. This is now implemented but cannot be tested until the related workstations are installed We have requested CPH to configure this within the application. This should now be complete and is ready for

  • testing. It should be noted that the application is in use already despite the screen resolution issue. We have

noticed that screen resolution has changed but application has crashed twice at gates today CFS confirms they have successfully tested fix for BPP and passport scanning. There is also a fix for the LPA which has yet to be tested, but this is not a show stopper for deployment All OK, apart from Document Printing which is mis-aligned. We are working to resolve this.

Key Areas Identified to Achieve Target Performance

26

#1

Preparatio n Accurate ETA BAX Volume Access to Stand

= Optimal planning

#2

Resource s & Equipmen t Ready at arrival Right persons and equipmen t

= Timely

#3

Processe s

Standardi zation Reduce variation

= Efficient process

#4

Capacity Offloading area Allocation Utilization

= Queue reduction

Focusing on these four areas will assist to improve the KPI performance and reduce the overall time passengers will wait for their baggage upon arrival. Majority of delays occur during the first three areas: main improvement will be seen if we can improve the arrival timeliness and ensure the right staff is ready at the ramp, with the right equipment, when the aircraft arrives. The time spent for offloading the aircraft is very dependent on the BAX volume, whether it is bulk or containerized arrivals. By improving the allocation of arrival lanes and increase the use of arrival lane 1 and 2 we can reduce time spent queuing.
