DESIGNING PATTERNS

I based my designs on the ingredients used in the iconic Chanel No5 perfume, neroli, mayrose, jasmine and ylang ylang. I decided on the lion pattern based on the ‘fierce’ room in

ur interior. This links well with Chanel’s previous lion

jewellery collection and lion catwalk show.

I decided to design fabric samples to be used for a collection of objects to go inside the briefcase. This could include a purse, glasses case, laptop case, scarf, makeup bag etc. I mainly focused on the purse in terms of my designs.

flowers. Design for ‘fierce’ room.
