BYLAWS AMENDMENT #1

OFFICERS: ELECTIONS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • CURRENT: “A candidate for any SE PA USBC Officer position must have served on the Board for a length
  • f 3 years before submitting an application for consideration. Exception made for candidates having

commensurate experience from serving in other local, state and national capacities.”

  • PROPOSAL: ADD after last sentence- Current SE PA USBC Directors having other relevant

experience and having demonstrated active leadership and interest can submit an application for consideration of an officer position.

  • RATIONALE: The pool of qualified individuals should not be restricted as there are current Board

members who have served in leadership capacities within other organizations. The required skill-set is transferable.

  • EFFECTIVE DATE: 6/11/17 current election process
