 What is the Purpose of the EES PTO?

  • The purpose of the Evergreen Elementary School Parent Teacher

Organization is to enhance the overall educational and social experiences

  • f the children attending this school through the collaborative efforts of

parents, teachers, administrators, and the community at large.

  • This objective will be accomplished through the dedication of participants'

time, energy, talent, and attentiveness to policies affecting our children.

Who can be a member?

  • Any parent, grandparent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parent for a

student at the school is eligible to become a member with voting rights. The principal and any teacher or staff member employed at the school are eligible to become members with voting rights.

Why and how to join?

  • Joining our PTO allows you to receive the quarterly electronic newsletters, as

well as, any important emails with news and event updates from the PTO. It’s the perfect way to stay in touch and learn how you can help our cause!

  • Joining is simple and FREE!! Simply visit www.evergreenpto.org and click the

membership form link!

school community and encourage everyone to support our teachers, staff and students.

 Please complete the Evergreen Elementary School

PTO registration form online at www.evergreenpto.org.

 Once registered online you will NOT have to repeat

the process every year, you will be registered for your duration at Evergreen.

Without volunteers we would not be a successful organization! We are looking for volunteers to help with our Spring Events: STEAM Night, Spring Hop, & Teacher Luncheons.

Any teachers or parents who would like to participate in STEAM Night are more then welcome to join by giving a demonstration or doing any Hands-on activities. Please contact Erica Chacon, event chairperson:ericachacon81@gmail.com or (773)678-6783. Setup will start at 5pm on 1/29/19 for STEAM Night. You will need to provide your own supplies.

Evergreen Spirit Days will be the 2nd Tuesday of each month. They will coincide with monthly Community Gatherings. Students will be encouraged to wear school colors (teal & yellow) or Evergreen spirit wear.  Items that have names on them are returned

to students. Please make an effort to label your children's clothing, accessories, lunch bags, water bottles, etc. to ensure their items can be returned to them in a timely manner.
