Summary of findings The diversion to alternative lower-order roads is already taking place.
- Lane acquisition
- This results in a large unserved demand along January
Masilela Drive and Lynnwood Road that cannot practically be accommodated on alternative routes.
- There is gross oversaturation at several key intersections
along diversion routes on alternative routes.
- Lane acquisition is not feasible and, therefore, is not
recommended.
- Lane addition is recommended.
- Minor road network upgrades are recommended.
