Project aims
Overall aim is to improve employment outcomes for young people with SEND and demonstrate how: ØTo promote high quality careers advice for children and young people with SEND ØTo use vocational profiling and embed in EHC Plans and the curriculum ØTo develop effective employer engagement strategies ØTo develop responsive study programmes ØTo develop a clear multi-agency pathway into employment

Expectation of sites
ØDevelop a work plan based on local priorities ØInvolve schools, colleges, economic regeneration, commissioners and supported employment providers ØEngage at least one employer to work on the project ØEnsure that relevant staff can work on the project ØSet up a key stakeholder group if an appropriate one does not exist
