What is H5P? • H5P is an online tool that makes it easy to create interactive content by providing a range of content types to engage learners. • It uses HTML5 to create the content. • Unless installed on the Learning Management System, the H5P asset will be inserted using an iFrame.

H5P.com H5P.org • Free to use • Software as a Service (SaaS) • Plugin for WordPress, Moodle or Drupal • LTI with Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard others • H5P.org site is for trying it out – need to host on your own site • SaaS provides hosting and storage space LTI = Learning Tools Interoperability which is an education technology standard.

What is an iFrame? iFrame stands for Inline Frame. The “ iFrame ” tag defines a rectangular region within the document in which the browser can display a separate document, including scrollbars and borders.
