  2. Video games gives learners a “mental workout” The structure of activities embedded in video games develops a number of cognitive skills Learner-centered education Cost benefits Time benefits

  3. Challenges: Whether and how enjoyment affect learners’ intention to use a serious video game? (empirical validation) Is there a difference on the connection of enjoyment and intention to use a serious video game among genders? Opportunities: Increasing students perceived enjoyment Focusing on the specificities of each gender

  4. Corfu: 46 students Second Grade of Gymnasium (Middle School) 13-14 years old They has some experience with similar games They played with the game during the school hours

  5.  Perceived Enjoyment  Intention to use the game  5 point linkert scale  Conversation/interview with students  Researchers’ observations

  6. Students’ enjoyment with the game was high Students’ intention to use the game again was satisfactory Students’ enjoyment has a positive effect on students’ intention to use the game again Another conclusion of this study is the moderating effect of students’ gender on the relationships between ENJ and IUSSG. An interesting discovery is observed; Girls who are low enjoyed with the game have the same intention to use the game again with boys who are high enjoyed This result can be possibly explained by the fact that boys are more familiar and experienced with video games], as such is more difficult to change their attitude (ENJ); But if you will change their attitude then they will reward it with their behavior

  7. Small sample size And all the empirical studies limitations In the future we will study the effect of entertainment attributes on students’ actual performance Over longer periods Using qualitative data With more latest technology games
