Advisement

  • School Counselors meet with each student in 9th grade to create a PLP (Personal Learning Plan).

It is reviewed annually with all students.

  • The PLP discussion includes information about graduation requirements, diploma types, transcripts, the

PSAT, SAT, and NCAA. CTEC programs are introduced and discussed.

  • Students take a career interest inventory based on Myers Briggs and are assisted in using the Occupational

Outlook Handbook (Bureau of Labor Statistics). This helps with career exploration.
