Early College High Schools (ECHS) are innovative high schools that allow students least likely to attend college an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and 60 college credit hours. Early College High Schools: provide dual credit at no cost to students
- ffer rigorous instruction and accelerated courses
provide academic and social support services to help students succeed increase college readiness, and reduce barriers to college access.

- English-4 credits: English I, II, III, and Eng. 4 or other advanced
English class
- Math- 4 credits: Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II or other advanced
math course, and a math required by endorsement
- Science- 4 credits: Biology, IPC or Chemistry, Physics or other
advanced science course, and a science required by endorsement
- Social Studies- 3 credits: World History, US History,
Government/Economics
- Foreign Language- 2 credits (Spanish at Everman HS)
- Fine Arts- 1 credit
- Physical Education- 1 credit
- The remainder of credits are made up of elective credits from the
student’s chosen endorsement for a total of 26 credits.
