  8. “A -G ” Subject Requirement Subject Requirements • “A - G” represents the 15 year long academic courses you must complete in high school to be considered for admission. • Admission to the UC/CSU campuses is extremely competitive and requires students to satisfy far more demanding standards (ie recommended vs required years). • Students must earn a minimum GPA of a 3.0 in all “A - G” courses, with no grade lower than a C.
