Choosing Courses

Courses are either…

FULL YEAR or 1 SEMESTER 1 semester courses are either FALL (F) or SPRING (S) There are 28 periods in a week at North…

  • Ignore credits right now and pay attention to periods.

You need at least 24 periods in a week. You can’t have more than 28 periods in a week.

an ALTERNATE, in case your first choice is full or doesn’t fit your schedule.

On March 10th you will get a REGISTRATION WORKSHEET to practice filling

  • ut what classes you want to sign up for online.

Some sections will be filled in for you already (both on your worksheet and online). Course numbers will be entered by your teachers for:

  • English
  • History
  • Math
  • PE / Sexuality and Health
  • Physics
  • World Language (not everyone will take a World Language)
  • Directed Study (2 periods per week of a study hall in both the fall and spring

semesters)
