Why refresh and re-launch?

The boss said he wanted the APL to be the “… best recruitment website in the world” but NO PRESSURE!

  • Increased functionality for job seekers and employers
  • Build a communication platform for the APL team, employers, and

healthcare practitioners

  • Improve the recruitment process; making recruitment easier and

more efficient

  • Update the website for modern browsers and mobile devices
  • Automate processes, increasing efficiency and ease for the

employers

  • Be competitive within the recruitment industry

Process of refreshing – Planning Stage

  • We sought stakeholder feedback through teleconferences, survey

monkey surveys, e-newsletters

  • We reached out to our B.C Provincial counterpart; Healthmatch BC

as they just completed a refresh to their site

  • We asked our partners:
  • What do you like about the current site?
  • What needs to go or change?
  • What is missing on the current APL?
  • We developed our “Dream List” – we thought big picture
  • We engaged IT and design resources with a vision as big as our own!
