ASK services will support schools to achieve:

  • Links to the Careers Strategy
  • Evidence towards Gatsby Benchmark 7
  • Meeting schools statutory obligations under Baker Claus to allow training

providers access to pupils to promote apprenticeships

  • DfE Guidance – From September 2018 all school establishments must

publish information about the schools careers programme to pupils year 8-13. Also have a designated career lead

  • Ofsted new School Inspection Handbook (Sept 18) has more reference to

impartial careers guidance with clear grading markers

  • Compliments CEC Compass tool
