SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

FULL TUITION RENEWABLE SCHOLARSHIPS†

3 full tuition renewable* scholarships (approx. value $14,200 – $14,800 CAD) each year for new international students.

$5,000 RENEWABLE SCHOLARSHIPS†

3 renewable* $5,000 CAD scholarships per year for international students.

$1,000 ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS†

20 non-renewable $1,000 CAD entrance scholarships for new international students each year.

†Applications for Full Tuition, Renewable and Entrance scholarships (Renewable and Non-renewable) will be included with your acceptance

  • package. Recipients are chosen based on academics, community service,

reference/reference letters, and a written statement. *Renewable scholarships can be renewed each year if the recipient maintains a 75% or higher average.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS*

Awarded at the time of offer based on secondary school grade point average:  75-79.9% – $1,500 CAD (one-time)†  80-84.9% – $2,000 CAD (renewable)†  85-89.9% – $3,000 CAD (renewable)†  90-94.9% – $3,500 CAD (renewable)†

*Bachelor’s Degree scholarships are available to non-transfer students only, coming directly from high school/secondary school. †Renewable scholarships can be renewed each year if the recipient maintains an 80% or higher average.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EAP GRADUATES

Graduates of Humber’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program with a grade point average of 80% or higher in EAP Level 8 who are applying for a Humber degree may be eligible to receive a one-time non- renewable scholarship of $1,500 CAD.

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (EAP)

 Designed to improve your English communication skills for further studies or work.  EAP offers 8 levels of study (each 8 weeks long) with 6 intake dates per year. humber.ca/liberalarts/elc/eap

BACHELOR’S DEGREE

 Our 4-year degrees combine liberal arts courses with career-focused skills.  All Bachelor’s Degrees include a work/co-op placement. humber.ca/degrees

CERTIFICATES & DIPLOMAS

THE COST OF COLLEGE

2015-2016 International Student Fees per academic year (two semesters): Tuition Fees Postsecondary diploma and certifjcate programs $14,200 CAD Bachelor’s degree programs $14,800 CAD Postgraduate certifjcate programs $14,800 CAD English for Academic Purposes (each 8-week level) $3,025 CAD

Please note: Diploma, Certifjcate, and Degree programs range from 22 weeks to four years. Tuition for these programs includes health insurance and incidental fees (athletic centre, library services, student federation services), but does not include books or housing.

THE COST OF LIVING IN CANADA

Residence and books are approximate costs per academic year (two semesters): Residence and Meal Plan/per Academic Year Approx. $8,130 – $10,500 CAD Books and Supplies/per Academic Year Approx. $1,200 CAD Homestay with Meals/per Academic Year Approx. $9,000 – $10,200 CAD + $190 CAD placement fee (one time)
