Changes to be made to all Lux Box selftest products

• Implementing timers within PCB’s
• Parallel watchdog sequences to be implemented

which will memorise selftesting procedure starts. If any incorrect or not fully completed test will be indicated by LED indicator which will only clear after the test has been performed correctly.

• Status LED will now indicate if no function test has

been performed within the last 30 days

• Status LED will also indicate if no duration test has

been performed within 1 year Visual indication of faults

Battery technology

• Although keeping NiCd batteries Lux Box fully

endorses using LiFePO4 battery technologies

• LiFePO4 batteries being used in conjunction with

selftest allow the batteries to regenerate, enabling a longer lifetime to be achieved

• Our LiFePO4 batteries are intrinsically safe due to the

self-ignition temperature being above 600°C and passes the blunt nail penetration test

• Our LiFePO4 batteries are 3rd party certified in

accordance to IEC 62133-2:2017 LiFePO4
