Photography!

What would you like to see? Would you rather have digital versions of society / club shots or professional print outs? How much would you be prepared to pay as a society / club for a print out or digital copies? Do you prefer traditional set-ups for these photos or would you prefer ones in a studio?

slide-11
SLIDE 11

Accreditation?

Do you like having the chance to get bronze / silver / gold accreditation? It takes a lot of time to complete and review it for you and our staff, would you still like to have it as an optional process? Do you find it beneficial in gaining new members?

slide-12
SLIDE 12

SU Acronym?

Does referring to your group as being affiliated to ‘the SU’ work? Do you think you need an acronym to explain the whole “Falmouth and Exeter” thing? How do you think this decision should be made and how can we move forward?

Joint Crest Update

Student idea I’ve been working on with Joe Phillips to get a crest that merges the two crests of the two universities to show what a unique relationship they have August 2019: Took it to both universities - initially positive response and hoped to get it in place by September September 2019: Informed that it was a much longer process required to get the concept approved - needed to go to Exeter Sports Dual Assurance November 2019: Got approval at Exeter Sports Dual Assurance, Exeter really happy with the idea. Found out that Falmouth University now also needed to approve it, last week found out that they have rejected the idea.

Activities Awards!

We’re thinking:

  • Keeping the two course meal at Falmouth

Hotel - but potentially making the vegetarian

  • ption the default (but you can opt to have meat)
  • Hoping to keep the date as the first week of

May, but moving to the Friday instead

  • Keeping most of the awards the same, but

changing the volunteering awards to recognise more individual volunteers. Also considering adding in a staff / instructor award.

  • Changing the awards panel to have one

member of SU staff, and one senior staff member from each university What do you think?
