What is it?
The Health Forum is our strategic patient engagement forum and
- ffers you a chance to discuss any of the NHS services we
commission in Warrington to get patient feedback and experiences and discuss our commissioning intentions and plans An example of how we meet the legal duty to involve and engage with patients and the public “make arrangements to involve the public in the commissioning of services…a) the planning of services b) the development and consideration of proposals c) the decisions which, when implemented, would have an impact on services”.

CCG Governing Body

Health Forum Get engaged conference When: Three times a year Who: Representatives from stakeholders plus representatives of organisations or groups that represent the public Purpose: Raise awareness of services and roles to the public. Topics to be decided from discussions at the Health Forum and agreed by the CCG Our wider network When: Ongoing Who: A growing database of people who are interested in, and want to, take part in, engagement and consultation work in Warrington Purpose: Opportunity to reach out to a much wider variety of people than would traditional engage. A resource to call on people to be directly involved in the development of new models and options through ad hoc and targeted workshop activity. A network to share key messages and sign post to engagement activity outside of the conference and forum meetings
