FOUNDATIONS OF STUDENT SUCCESS

  • This course is designed to guide incoming first year

students through the transition from high school to college.

  • This will involve further developing content knowledge

previously covered in secondary schools, reflecting on self-assessments taken, diagnosing learning styles, beginning to develop college-level study and tests- taking skills, and learning the resources available to students on a college campus.

  • Each week is a different big idea that focuses on an area of

developmental need.

  • Students will receive content addressing common themes

based off of the ACT Engage Assessment.
