The SA Financial Literacy winners, freshmen Kevin Ahearn and Joey Laniado, placed 1st in the District competition. These MBHS freshmen competed against teams comprised only of seniors from across Horry County. g p y y y SA teams have placed in the top 3 for 3 years in a row.
Sophomore Logan Chestnut (CHS) won First Place and senior Moshe Laniado (MBHS) won Third Place competing against Calculus BC students from the southeastern region of SC. g
Ahmed Jaraki, a CHS sophomore, won First Place and Zack Graham a SHS junior won Third Graham, a SHS junior, won Third Place competing against CCU college chemistry students and
Horry and Georgetown counties. Scholars AP Biology students swept the team awards at the Sand Hills Regional Science Fair Sand Hills Regional Science Fair at Francis Marion University with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
