  3. Semesters, Sessions, and Dates Steeple Run and River W oods L ocations: Semester 1: June 4 - June 21 (3 weeks) Semester 2: June 24 - July 12 (3 weeks) N o school July 4 or 5. Session 1: 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. (10:10 - 10:25 student break) Session 2: 10:30 - 12:00 p.m.

Transportation ● T ransportation information for summer learning can be found on Infinite C ampus under the “transportation” tab. ● T ransportation is only available for summer learning Session 1 arrival (8:30 a.m.), and at the end of Session 2 dismissal (12:00 p.m.). ● T ransportation is not available for the start of Session 2 (10:30 a.m.). ● If you have any transportation related questions now or in the future, contact the D 203 T ransportation D epartment at: 630-420-6464.

Student Summer Learning Registration Schedu O n the first day of summer learning it is imperative that you send your child to school with the Student Summer Learni Registration Schedule in their backpack, and explain to him/her the importance of finding a special place to k this document in their backpack to have access to it

  7. Steeple Run Parent Drop -O ff/Pick-U p T he following traffic safety plan was developed in conjunction with the N aperville Police D epartment: Travel north on Steeple Run Drive. Enter the drop-off/pick-up lane by making a right turn only from Steeple Run Drive. Proceed to the front of the school. All students will exit curb side and be escorted to the gym/multi-purpose room through door 1. Pull up to the farthest possible point along the drop-off and pick-up zone. Steeple Run: Walkers ★ Y our child will only be allowed to walk off of school grounds if you have designated that they are a walker. ★ If you or another designated caregiver will be picking-up your child to walk home, please check-in with your child’s teacher who will be stationed outside to let him/her know that you are taking the child. Please write the names of approved individuals that can pick-up your child on the Student Summer Learning Registration Schedule that your child will be bringing on the first day of summer learning.

  9. Summer School Camp NPD (on -site) and C hampions C amp (off-site) A fter school care is being offered at both Summer L earning locations. Students will remain at Steeple Run who are attending N PD camp. Students who are attending the C hampions camp will be bussed to M aplebrook E lementary by way of D 203 transportation. T here is still availability to register for C hampions C amp. Local Partners in Learning T he N aperville Public L ibrary will be presenting their Summer Reading Program to our K -4 students, encouraging them to track their reading summer and receive prizes for their dedication to reading on their with a loved one. The DuPage Children’s Museum staff will be bringing their Learni our K -4 math courses. They will be providing hands -on activities one time per semester per grade level. Dates TBD.
