Getting Ready for NJSLA
The NJSLA assessments are aligned with curriculum that your child has participated in all year, so no special preparation for testing is necessary. During the testing period just encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and be on time. Annually, we have a test site visitation day which includes strategies to manage their stress and perform effectively.

Remind students that assessment is one part of their educational experience. ★ With Math, suggest performing opposite operations.
