- IP students deemed to have the
language proficiency to access the HM TL curriculum, will be enrolled for the O- Level HM TL examination in Y ear 4 without the need for them to offer M TL at O-level.
- Students who obtained D7 or better for
O-Level HM TL would fulfil the M TL requirement for entry to local full-time publicly-funded degree programmes.
Discover Victoria Discover You- Y4 IP students who did not obtain at least an E8 or better in HMTL in the O
Level Exam would be deemed as not having fulfilled the MTL requirement to progress to Year 5.
- These students would not have met entry requirement to JC.
- MOE will acknowledge Year 3 IP students as having fulfilled the requirement for
entry to JC if they attain results equivalent to a D7 or better in the (school-based) HMTL SA2 Examination.
- These students are eligible to offer HMTL in Y4 and sit for the O-Level HMTL
Examination.
- Y3 IP students who obtained the E8 or F9 grades for the HMTL SA2
Examination would not have met entry requirement for JC.
- They will offer MTL in Y4 and sit for the O-Level MTL Examination in which to
have to obtain a D7 grade and above to meet entry requirement for JC. Failing which they have to sit for the O -Level MTLB Examination.
