Youth Offending Service (YOS)

The community safety team work closely with the youth

  • ffending team when dealing with the young people that

cause ASB in the Vale. The aim is to look at prevention and ways to engage the young person. As part of this intervention that is offered Neighbourhood Resolution Panel (NRP) is offered to the young person as part of the ASB process. The NRP is conducted by a 1 Partnership Officer and 1 YOS Officer with a YOS volunteer.

All housing related ASB is now meet with a joint response from the CST and the housing

  • providers. This will include joint visits were

further support can be offered and information

  • n how these behaviours can effect tenancy. All

issues are attempt to be resolved before taking any punitive action.
