  2. Same Risk Area Selection criterions for marine connectivity study in Kattegat region Target-species - DRAFT 85 species relevant in the Kattegat region Criterions: • Entire life cycle in the water column (e.g. pelagic copepods, pelagic fish, pelagic phytoplankton, jellyfish etc) • NIS already widely distributed /established. (e.g. species the razor mussel Ensis directus , the copepod Arcatia tonsa and the soft-shell clam Mya arenaria ) • Species with no or very limited salinity tolerance < 10 psu (e.g. the quagga mussel Dreissena bugensis ) • Macro algae have limited dispersal capability of seeds and spors- in meters. Shedded tallus may drift over (>100 km). unlikely to be a limiting factor. Result : 23 target-species to consider. 3 / Environmental Protection Agency / Titel på præsentation

  3. Same Risk Area 23 target-species Biological traits review: DRAFT!! • Pelagic larvae duration • Time To Maturation • Spawning period • Temperature range for reproduction • Salinity range for reproduction • Habitat (EMOD-net database) Suggestion: Model run for each of the 23 species 4 / Environmental Protection Agency / Titel på præsentation
