  2. What is “La Liga ”? The Ibero-American League of Civil Society Organizations “La Liga ” is a private non profit institution, currently involving 26 organizations from 18 Ibero-American countries, which are specialized in human, social and community development. The League was legally established in December 1999 in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), according to Spanish legislation. www.ligaiberoamericana.org

Strategic Goal 2 • Making organized civil society visible as a partner and political actor at regional and national levels, having an impact on public policy within the context of improved governance of the region’s countries.
