Ou Our hi history

• Samusocial Moskva is a Russian Non-Commercial Organization with French origins and

methodology

• Its name comes from the French acronym SAMU (Service d’Aide Medicale d’Urgence) – which

means “Emergency Medical Assistance Service”

• Samusocial Paris was created in 1993 and Samusocial International was created in 1998
• Samusocial Moskva was created in 2003 by Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli and Dr. Leonid Rochal.

Between 2005 and 2011, Samusocial Moskva focused its efforts on children and young adults in Moscow, and since 2012, has re-oriented its focus on adult persons

• We focus on socially excluded adults living in Moscow, including women and mothers with

limited financial resources

• In 2011, a cooperation agreement was signed between Samusocial Moskva and the

Department of Social Welfare of the City of Moscow

• Our teams work and operate both in the streets of Moscow and in the premises of the Center

for Social Adaptation (CSA) Elizaveta Glinka

• ns: adult clothes (coats, socks, gloves, hats etc.), first emergency medicine and

medical products (bandages, plasters, disinfectants etc.), and hygiene products in particular for women. These are typically collected within firms, organizations from employees, or from private individuals. Our teams are ready to make a detailed presentation on this topic
