EPA Luminance Requirements • For products with a luminance in the Brightest Selectable Preset Picture Setting (the greater value of L DEFAULT_RETAIL or L BRIGHTEST_HOME) less than 350 cd/m2, luminance in the Picture Setting under which the product qualifies for the ENERGY STAR shall be greater than or equal to 65% of the luminance in the Brightest Selectable Preset Picture Setting, as per the Federal Test Procedure. • For products with a luminance in the Brightest Selectable Preset Picture Setting greater than or equal to 350 cd/m2, luminance in the Picture Setting under which the product qualifies for the ENERGY STAR shall be greater than or equal to 228 cd/m2, as per the Federal Test Procedure
