  • Joint ventures will be allowed to participate on this tender in order to enable

empowerment of the emerging entities. Each JV Entity needs to submit its

proof of CSD Registration summary with the tender

  • NO LATE TENDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Only tenders submitted at the correct location

Stage 3: Price and Preference point system Refer to item 3.15, 3.17 & 3.18 on page 16 -20 of the invitation to tender document Prices will be scored out of 80 points and B-BBEE status will be scored out of 20 points in accordance with PPPFA It should be noted that PART 2: PRICING DATA C2.2 the provisional bill of quantities as included in the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) is mandatory for evaluation and should be fully completed (quote on all items) and be submitted with this tender. Ranking of tenders – 59con1943 & 59con1944

Contractors will be ranked by applying the preferential point scoring based

  • n the 80/20.

The total number of contractor to be appointed is one (1). After the scoring and ranking of tenders the following shall apply to break deadlock:

  • In the event that two or more tenderers have scored equal points, the

successful tender must be the one that scored the highest points for B-BBEE;

  • If two or more suppliers scored equal points, including equal preference points

for B-BBEE, the successful tender must be the one scoring the highest score for functionality, if functionality is part of the evaluation process;

  • In the event that two or more tenders are equal in all respects, the award must

be decided by the drawing of lots.

Works- Infrastructure (EP) *class of construction work; or not lower than one level below the required grading designation in the class of works construction works under consideration and possesses the required recognition status;

  • the combined contactor grading designation calculated in accordance with the cidb
