It used to be Team Rusty Spokes
- Started in 2007 by Cornelius Dupre and his daughter Angele
- First team of riders comprised of friends and family of Dupre
- Team expanded as more friends and family joined
- Dupre Energy Services and Energy XXI fully sponsored team
- In 2012, Energy XXI took over as team captain
- Brooks Concrete joined as a third co-sponsor in 2012
- Forced to change our team name after our successful 2013 year
- Sabine Energy is our newest sponsor this year
- Currently an Energy XXI, Sabine Energy, Dupre Energy
and Brooks sponsored team

2014 Ride Logistics – La Grange Finish
Official La Grange Team Finish –
- St. Mark’s Hospital
Parking Lot Cold beverages and snacks at team finish tent
2014 Ride Logistics – The Falls
- Approximately 30 miles from La Grange
- 4 Shuttle vans to shuffle riders from the La Grange finish to the resort
- Bike trucks to store and lock up bikes overnight
- Amenities include pool, restaurant, bar, tennis courts, driving range, but
most importantly, your own bed and a hot shower
- Massage therapists will be set up next to the pool
- Team dinner at Pavilions sponsored by Dupre Energy Services
- 5am breakfast at the resort club house
- Leave for La Grange for 7am day 2 start
**Due to number of people involved this year, many people have
- roommates. Please check the preliminary rooming list to see if you’d
like to swap with someone.

2014 Ride Logistics – Austin Finish
- Still waiting on tent assignment
- Dedicated Austin Volunteer Team will head to Austin Saturday night to
secure parking spots close to tent for vans and shuttles
- Food and beverages will be available at the finish line
- NEW THIS YEAR: Team changing spot in tent
How do I get my bike back to Houston?
- Option 1: Do what we did the past two years
- Bike trucks and shuttle vans will be available to transport bikes and people back to
Waller Junior High on a staggered schedule
- Sometimes the wait is between 1-2 hours before bike trucks arrive
- Option 2: We send bike trucks and shuttles back to Houston Sunday morning
and all riders use the official MS150 shuttles or find your own way back
- MS150 transportation is $35 pre-paid, buses leave when full
- Site says it can take up to 5 hours from moment you load your bike to when your
bike arrives at Waller, Tully or Rhodes stadium
- Option 3: Use team bike trucks, but pick up your bikes on Monday
- Austin team would leave on Sunday to return to Houston
- Chad/Kim, Lee/Tina would stay in Austin Sunday night with the bike trucks and
return to Houston on Monday
- Everyone would need to pick up their bike sometime on Monday at a
predetermined spot
Volunteers: What do I do??
- Team support
- Vehicle drivers
- 2 people per vehicle (14 total volunteers needed)
- Must pick up and return vehicles
- The Falls
- Lead coordinator
- Massage tent set up
- Lunch/Dinner assist
- Team photography
- Heads straight to tent location on Saturday
- Tent set up
- Flag down riders
- Heads to Austin finish line after team photo on Sunday morning

- Heads to Austin on Saturday to “reserve” parking spots in lots
for our bike and supply trucks (rooms reserved at Double Tree)
- Meet with caterer and sets up our finish line location
- Meet our remaining volunteers once they arrive
