  16. LNG for Boat Taxis  Krobkrua Khonsong (2002) Co., a boat taxis servicer on Saen Saeb canal, has joined with PTT in using LNG by converting 72 boat taxis to run on LNG/Diesel Dual Fuel  Each boat taxi is equipped with Cummins engine, 270 hp.  The project was started in June 2010. Boat Taxis Boat Machine Using LNG 450-Litre LNG Cylinder Gas Mixing Regulator Diesel Control Valve

  17. LNG for Boat Taxis LNG refueling station is located at the boat depot. - Two LNG tanks with capacity of 36,000 liters each - One hose dispensing 120 liters of LNG per minute - LNG consumption 2.5 TPD LNG Truck LNG Tanks Unload LNG (Tank Capacity (36,000 Pump Skid Litersx2) 17,000 liters) LNG One Hose Dispenser

  18. LNG Application in Industrial Sector (Rubber Industry) - In association with Rubber Latex Fund Cooperative - LNG is used as a fuel for heating in rubber latex factory substitute diesel. - LCNG supply station comes with LNG storage with the capacity of LCNG Station Rubber Oven 17,000 liters - LNG Consumption 1 TPD CONCENTRATED LATEX LCNG Layout STR-20

  19. Modification of CNG Station to LCNG Station Objective: CNG Station 1. Pilot Project to Introduce LCNG Station in Remote Area and also Reduce NGV Operating Cost 2. Reducing Transportation Cost (due to higher loading capacity of trailer) and CNG Electrical Cost (due to usage of high Loading Capacity = 3.5 Ton CNG NGV VEHICLE COMPRESSOR Storage and pressure cryogenic pump instead of Dispenser compressor) Cascade system CNG Trailer 200 Bar Site Location: LCNG Station NGV Station in Northern Area (Chiang Mai Province) High Pressure LNG Supply Source: Ambient Vaporizer Sukhothai Boutique LNG Plant Capacity: 6- 8 tons per day Loading Capacity = 12 Ton Starting Commercial Phase: CNG CNG NGV VEHICLE Storage and November 2 01 1 LNG Trailer Dispenser 200 Bar Storage LCNG Cryogenic Cascade system Vessel Pump

  21. Modification of CNG Station to LCNG Station LNG Truck Loading to LNG Storage Tank Landscape of Chiang Mai LCNG Station LNG & Liquid Nitrogen High Pressure Pumps LNG & Liquid Nitrogen Vaporizers

  22. Modification of CNG Station to LCNG Station Advantage of LCNG Station : - Lower Operating & Maintenance Cost - Lower Power Consumption - No Lube Oil Contamination Problem in Onboard CNG Tank - Lower Noise Level Disadvantage of LCNG Station : - Gas Loss due to LNG Vaporizing - LNG Cost Higher Than CNG - Higher Investment Cost due to Equipment Designed for Cryogenic Condition
