H.526 Act 38 1.

• a. Require surveyors to submit

digital copies of surveys prepared for recording in accordance with 27 VSA § 1401-1404 to the library

• b. Historical and as-built land

surveys may be added to the library over time, but are not required

Digital copy used for updates Mylar w/ town remains authoritative document

Effective January 1, 2020

• Consistency of message of what parcel data is & is not (our teams, towns)
• 2020 & beyond Workflow:
• Vendors / Creators directly to VCGI
• Survey library backup for periodic VCGI upkeep
• Staying in touch with creators & town reps
• Content: SPAN is most important
• Expectations: Some variability in current-ness, quality, coverage to resume

post-project w/o direct payment; we’ll do the best we can
