- Transportation Impact Study (TIS)
– Identify impacts of the proposed access on the transportation system in the surrounding area and identify mitigations to offset that impact
- Hazelwood Green Phase I Transportation Mitigation
Project – Project covers the mitigations outlined in the TIS – TIS indicated multiple areas for mitigation

– Signalized Intersection (with Bates St southbound only) – Widening of intersection for truck movements – New sidewalk, ADA curb Ramp with piano key style crosswalk
- Minor ROW required and some utility pole relocations

– Short length deceleration (36’) and tight curve – Traffic queuing on SR 0376 shoulder

– Structure on SR 0376 over Bates Street widened roughly 6 feet to lengthen the deceleration lane (from 36’ to 592’) for Glenwood ramp – Additional width to piers and abutments for an additional beam – Construct retaining wall along ramp – Accelerated bridge construction to minimize traffic impacts

– New ADA curb ramps – New piano key style crosswalk – Additional sidewalk/landing will be on both sides of Hot Metal St to accommodate Eliza Furnace Trail and Hazelwood Trail and Parking Lot users – City/Port Authority coordinating bus stop and bus shelter to potentially consolidate with Bates Street bus stop
