All cars leaving the school are to turn left upon leaving the gate and make a U-turn further down Bright Hill Drive. Right- Turn is NOT allowed for all cars except School Buses.

Key Points to Note • Get your child ready in advance to alight when approaching the alighting bays at the main foyer – Avoid the need to open the doors for your child when alighting – Avoid saying “ L ong Goodbyes”, Hugs, Kisses etc • Follow instructions by Traffic Wardens/Marshals on duty • Be patient, be considerate and be polite – Do not horn your vehicle unnecessarily – Do not overtake or cut lanes within school – Seek help from our personnel on duty where required • Give way to school buses • Please DO NOT SPEED in school – 15km/hr – Avoid Endangering others • NO RIGHT-TURN at Exit Gate

Key Points to Note • No parking for visitors to school – Due limited parking lots and space within school – Ample parking available (opp Bus-stop along Sin Ming Ave and Mid- View City) • No parking along Bright Hill Drive (just outside the school) – Is illegal (Double Yellow Lines) – Short & Narrow Dual Carriageway – Will result is unwanted congestion – Be considerate to other road users – Dangerous for your child due expected heavy traffic • Parents advised to park at nearby carparks if early – School gates WILL NOT open outside of designated operating hours • LTA Officers may be at hand to enforce strict compliance

Key Points to Note • All visitors to school to register at Guardroom – To make prior arrangement with School (except for emergencies) – To obtain Visitor Pass – To proceed to General Office – Restricted from wandering around school • Parents Not Allowed in School during School Commencement and Dismissal Periods – No Parents Corner • All Parents are kindly advised to wait outside the designated school gates (A, B & E) – Avoid coming too early – Parents are not allowed to visit their children in their classrooms or go to rooms reserved for teaching and learning. • Parents fetching their children home during school hours have to sign out at the General Office. – Parents have to pass the permission slip to security guards before leaving the school.

  22. Key Points to Note • School Canteen STRICTLY for students and staffs of Ai Tong – No sale of food to the general public!! • Parents NOT ALLOWED to buy food for your child in the canteen – For special request, please see school leaders

GETTING READY FOR SCHOOL Belongings • Label own belongings & take good care of them • Avoid giving your child too much money • Valuables/toys/games should not be brought to school • Mobile phones : strictly for contact with parents/guardians before/after school; must be switched off during lessons

  36. Birthday Celebrations To ensure pupil well-being and avoid unnecessary competition, we do not permit pre-school birthday celebration practices to be continued in primary school.

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL For Parents • Briefing in the hall on first day of school • Talk on “ Preparing your child for Primary One ” on 3 Jan and 4 Jan For Pupils • Recess Buddy Programme (Parents are allow to observe their child during recess for day 1 and 2) • Orientation Package Updated information will be put up on parents’ portal nearer school re -opening. Parents will be informed via SMS
