At AGSB, GCSE Geology is a much appreciated subject…..

I do not regret taking

  • Geology. It’s the best

subject going. So far I have had a great time and really look forward to Doc Rock’s lessons. Easily the best Science subject but also overlaps well with Geography too. Choosing Geology was probably the best choice I made in Year 9. Geology is a sophisticated

  • subject. You are engaged

in every lesson. I have been really surprised how Geology links so well with all the other Sciences. The topic booklets mean I can focus on learning instead of note taking.

Geology- a final thought.

‘We know from science and particularly Geology that the world is not static and is changing at an astonishing, terrifying rate. If you know anything about Geology you recognise that we are living in extraordinary times. And that’s why Geology is so important’.

Sir David Attenborough, June 2019. Narrator on the BBC series Blue Planet.

MA Natural Sciences, Cambridge. Geology and Zoology.
