PASSENGER ORGANIZATION WHEN BOARDING Many flight attendants expressed frustration with the current boarding process. We decided to focus on this area of the flight to relieve stress from flight attendants. We found communication can be difficult between flight attendants when storing passengers’ bags and seating

  • passengers. Many times, flight attendants are too far away
  • n the plane to clearly communicate. They also often have

to direct passengers to empty storage when the overhead becomes full.

We believe re-thinking the organization of passengers before they board can improve both of these communication issues.

EFFICIENT BAGGAGE STORAGE & ORGANIZATION Often times passengers throw their bags into random overhead storage bins and the organization is inefficient and confusing. Flight attendants must spend time reorganizing the bags and helping passengers find an empty space. Later in the flight, many passengers will forget where their bags are. De-planing can be hectic and confusing because of this.

We want to create a more structured and intuitive way to organize bags that will be more efficient and will allow passengers to feel comfortable with where their items are stored.
