NAHMS Goat 2019 In-Person Coordinator Training NAHMS Goat 2019 Study Tableau Dashboard • Accessing the dashboard o The dashboard is located on the Tableau Server, to access the server you will need to sign in with your LincPass https://animalhealthreporting.aphis.usda.gov/#/site/VS/workbooks o Once you click on the link, you will see all of the dashboards you can currently access. Click on the one labeled NAHMS Workbook . • Interacting with the dashboard o You can interact with all pages of the dashboard, however you cannot edit any information. o Start by clicking on the link titled, Welcome Sheet. Once you have the welcome sheet open you can navigate between pages, by clicking them at the top.
NAHMS Goat 2019 Study Tableau Dashboard Cases Please walk through the following cases to interact with the NAHMS Goat 2019 Dashboard. As you walk through each case, do not hesitate to ask questions. 1. Starting on the welcome page, which State currently has the highest completion rate? Answer: ______ a. Tip: The darker the State on the map the higher the completion rate. b. Tip: The welcome map is a filter. You can filter the rest of the pages, by clicking on a specific State. 2. When will the turnover of paperwork from NASS to VS occur? Answer: ________________ a. Tip: This information is located on the sheet titled, Study Timeline and Info . 3. For the State of Michigan, who is the NASS contact and what is their number? Answer: _____________________________________ a. Tip: Use the welcome map to filter for the state of interest, and then find the information on the page titled Contact Information. b. Tip: This page will contain all shipping addresses. If you need to double check that you have the correct air bill, or what the NAHMS address is to send final paperwork, you can check here. 4. Have you completed and submitted all of your required paperwork to NAHMS? Answer: _______ a. Tip: This information is found on the sheet titled ‘Field Staff Paperwork’. b. Tip: If you click on your State on the Welcome Sheet, it will only show paperwork for people located in your State. c. Tip: For a quick glance, if there is an X it means incomplete, if there is a checkmark then it is complete. 5. For the State of Florida, how many VS questionnaires are complete? How many are outstanding? For the outstanding questionnaire what is the first NAHMS ID listed? Answer: ____# complete _____# outstanding ____________ a. Tip: Start by filtering down to the State on the welcome map, and then click on the Questionnaire Tracking Page. b. Tip: Use the bar graph figure to filter between questionnaire type and status.
6. For the State of Florida, what are the IDs of the operations that completed an Agritourism questionnaire after completing the VS questionnaire and who was the person assigned to complete them? Answer: ____________; ______________ IDS _________________person a. Tip: If you want to look at the VS and Agritourism questionnaires together, hold down the control button and click on both. 7. For the State of Oklahoma, how many operations have agreed to complete the parasite testing? Answer: ____________ a. Tip: Use the Biologics Tracking: Paperwork Page. Use the bar graph figure to filter for the State of OK. To look at the number that agreed for a specific biologic, use the figure. 8. For the State of Oklahoma, have any of the parasite results been sent back to the coordinator? Answer: ____________ a. Tip: Click on the bar graph figure, and filter to only those that agreed to participate in parasites. Check each column to know what paperwork has been received. When all paperwork has been received a green checkmark will appear on the far left. 9. Which State currently has the best response rate, number of operations that said yes, for the VS questionnaire? Which State has the best response rate for the Agritourism questionnaire? Answer: ______VS _______Agritourism a. Tip: All of this information is located on the sheet titled Questionnaire Rates. 10. Which State currently has the best biologic response rate, number of operations that agreed to complete that biologic AND that have had all paperwork submitted and returned, for Blood/Swabs? Answer: ________ a. Tip: All of this information is located on the sheet titled Biologic Rates. 11. Download the list of NAHMS IDs and the person assigned for your State. a. Tip: You can download any of the sheets into an excel file. For this case, you will want to download the information on the Questionnaire Tracking Sheet. Once on this sheet, filter to your state of interest and click on the table you want to download (do not click on the figure, or it will download that information). Once the data is filtered, click the download button in the upper right of the screen. Click on Crosstab and click download. The data should open into an excel file.
