SUMMER PROGRAMME

two age groups above their normal age for club junior fixtures and avoid clashes

  • Online payment process via CVENT has been generally useful and an upgrade from the

past

  • Michael Clayden replaced by Geraint Leach as Regional Performance Manager prior to

programme commencing

  • Hannaa Zaman & Scott Bishop both interviewed for ECB Level 3 Performance Coach

Qualification.

  • 6 girls successfully obtained places on Regional Development Centres
  • Seren Smale (Lancashire Lightning – not public yet)
  • Sophia Smale, Sara Phillips, Charlotte Scarborough, Alex Griffiths, Sophie Thomas (all Western

Storm)

  • 33% of Western Storm intake are Welsh girls
  • 6 RDC girls is the most by any county (bar Surrey) side across England & Wales.
  • Danielle Gibson selected on England Academy
  • ECB Independent Wharton Review Conducted
  • ECB Pitch Length Recommendations to be amended following RA
