Energy Rating Label Introduction

12/09/2019 Slide 24

On September 18th, 2008, the government decided to promote energy efficiency measures in order to reduce electricity consumption. As part

  • f this decision, the government had

set a guiding objective ‐ to reduce electricity consumption by 20% until the year 2020. The purpose of this paper is to assess the extent of energy efficiency that can be attained in all sectors; and as a consequence – the energy efficiency programs that should be actualized until the year 2020. Any regulated product can not be imported or put into market without satisfying the efficiency energy requirements in Israel.
