Tennis Instruction Committee (Skip Pavitt)

  • We no longer offer the 4-Week Tennis Clinics:
  • Too difficult to gather compatible level players
  • We are going to try to assist our USPTA instructors form

specially compatible groups

  • Members interested in joining a tennis clinic group should

send Skip Pavitt an email, so you can be added to a list of interested players

  • Skip Pavitt will work with the instructors to form clinics

based on a person’s skill and compatibility with a group

progress”

Why Do I Need Tennis Instruction At 2.5/3.0 or 3.5 Level? (Continued - Skip Pavitt/Ray Yost)

  • Best way to utilize our instructors:
  • Form a group of peers that want to learn the same skills
  • Arrange a 90 minute instruction session for a particular skill
  • Practice what you have learned for several weeks
  • Arrange another 90 minute instruction session for the same

skill

  • If you see improvement in your game:
  • Keep repeating the sessions and practices for another skill
  • Then, spread the word that it is possible to improve your

game
