  5.  In Grade 9 students will:  Learn about «contes et légendes franco- canadiennes»  Explore the 7 teachings of aboriginal nations  Read excerpts from well-known French Canadians authors:  Gabrielle Roy & Michel Tremblay  Read a play  Read a novel independently  Use multimedia resources to further develop their knowledge of important French Canadian figures – activities in this unit will also reflect the tasks they will do on the OSSLT to prepare them for this test (Grade 10)
