  • Create a new job in Topcon Tools office software and compile

multiple types of data (NGS Datasheets, local control, line work, ESRI Shape Files, etc.).

  • Identify and fix problems with full keyboard and mouse comfort so as

to not discover for first time while in the field.

  • View in Google Earth for a “common sense” check as well.
slide-40

  • From Topcon Tools, use Export to Device

and send to field controller as a TopSURV job (TSJ format).

  • Optional to also export all points from

Google Earth as a KMZ file. Then transfer KMZ file to a Topcon GRS-1 receiver.

  • Within File Explorer on GRS-1 receiver, tap
