What was the remit ?

social stimulation and company and entertainment to our residents - volunteers help us do this and bring the community to

What volunteers do for activities
- Volunteers mean that activity workers can involve
more residents at one time
- Volunteers can provide company and simulation
at times that the activity workers are not working
- Volunteers can befriend residents who don’t get
(many)visitors
- Volunteers can help physically transport residents
to activities - Simple wheel chair training can make this happen safely – this record with be
