  3. Survey • Significant changes being reported by EVDC colleagues and of interest to Cabinet Office • Online survey, similar to 2010 survey, space for comment on changes • 3 main areas of enquiry – Change in number of opportunities – Change in number of placements – Demographic changes

  4. Respondents • 2010 – 80 responses • 2011 – 40 responses, including 22 from 2010 • 33% volunteer broker • 66% volunteer involving organisations

  9. Change in people who want to volunteer • Unemployed and Job Centre referrals • Students and school leavers • Retirees • 2 nd career • More highly qualified and educated people • Short term • Leading to paid work
